My blogs are mixed up again. I don't know how to straighten them out.

I went to spent a week in my condo in Winter Park. My sister and brother-in-law joined me for a few days then left to go back to Iowa. Just after they left I realized I had a UTI infection. I found a walk in clinic. My urine looked dark brown and had blood in it. It alarmed me. The doctor asked me if I was alone out there. I said yes. Then he said ,"Did I know anyone in the area." I said ,"no". He gave me some tablets with a tone of instructions on what to do if my temp went up or I began having pain. I also had emergency numbers for nights. I was more alarmed. I didn't feel well Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Saturday I began to feel better and am almost finished with the medicine. I missed so many days photographing - so many moose. I think the medicine is getting the infection but will have it re-tested in a couple of days. I have reluctant feelings about going alone again.

Before I left Winter Part to drive over Berthoud Pass, I stopped at a Pastry Shop and got a cup of Earl Grey Hot Tea and a cherry turnover (baked that morning). I planned to stop at the Pass and eat my snack. When I got to the pass so many cars were coming up to Denver for the long weekend that I couldn't turn in so had to g0 on down the mountain. I was getting hungry so I got out the turnover and ate it while driving down the mountain. I have flaky pastry all over my car but that turnover sure was good

Even though I was sick and alone, it was so obvious God was with me and caring for me. The doctor and nurse were very good and caring. I was able to get what I needed and mostly spent the time in the Condo reading or watching daytime TV (which certainly lives up the its reputation). Driving in the mountains is fun - especially in a Honda Accord. It holds the road so well. Glad to get home. Remember "adventures make one late for dinner".
